GHMC, Water Board lose crores of JNNURM funds

HYDERABAD: Over Rs 300 crore funds sanctioned to the city under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) lapsed due to non-completion of projects before March 31. The projects that lapsed were sanctioned under the Urban Infrastructure and Governance (UIG) of the JNNURM, to mainly create infrastructure facilities in the city.
